This service is operated by INTERGATE VISALINK CC, a private Cape Town based contractor that handles the German Embassies' and the Consulate Generals' appointment system.
The online appointment system is designed to assist travellers in booking a visa appointment at his or her convenience, to provide information about the required documentation and especially to reduce waiting periods in the visa sections.
Our service greatly enhances the efficiency of the application process and provides greater flexibility in scheduling the date of the interview. Furthermore, our service adds convenience through the possibility of having your passport returned to you by our courier partner Berco Express (http://www.bercoexpress.co.za/).
The requirements to utilize the online service are minimal and include an Internet browser and a printer to print your appointment confirmation and application form.

This appointment system makes it possible for potential applicants to receive more comprehensive information ahead of a scheduled interview and more efficient service upon application at the Embassy in Pretoria or the Consulate General in Cape Town.
Important Notice: INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS CAN UNFORTUNATELY NOT BE PROCESSED BY THE GERMAN AUTHORITIES. If any of the documents you have been asked to provide can not be presented you will not be able to submit your application but will be asked to make a new appointment, which will incur a new application fee.
